Another Wahlberg Boston classic, I may be in the minority but I am excited to see this. I understand that people whose lives were altered after the tragic Boston Bombing might not feel the same, and I definitely understand that. However, in my mind it’s something that will help us never forget where we were when it happened, and how shocked we all were.
It looks like Wahlberg will have another good performance, as is customary when he does a Bostonian role. Another thing that has me pumped about this is that, low-key dime Michelle Monaghan plays Marky Marks wife in the movie. She’s gorgeous, honestly… try and tell me I’m wrong:
She even looks great playing a pregnant woman (Due Date 2010). But back to Patriots Day.
It looks like Lionsgate, and CBS Films, have delivered us with a timeless piece about a community coming together. Take a look at the trailer yourself:
Side note: David Ortiz will be in the movie delivering his classic, “this is our f****** city” speech. They had him re create it a couple months ago.
