NBA All-Stars 2017-Who got Snubbed?

The 2017 All-Star reserves were just released and as is tradition, people are unhappy with some of the picks. Some notable players left off are Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Kobe Bryant (even though he’s retired I still expect him to get voted in). Not saying any of these players deserved to be selected (except Kobe), but it will be weird not seeing any of these guys out there this year. Poor Lebron is going to be without his Banana Boat squad. However, I will still tune in because I love watching the All-Star game for its lack of defense, highlight dunks, and comradery between the players involved.

Here are your 2017 All-star Rosters:

East-Starters

Kyrie Irving, Demar DeRozan, Jimmy Butler, Lebron James, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (1st time All-Star)

East-Reserves

Paul George, Kevin Love, Kyle Lowry, John Wall, Paul Millsap, Kemba Walker (1st time All-Star), and Isaiah Thomas

S/O to John Wall and Isaiah Thomas for having monster years so far. Also, I am sad our Twitter Lord and Savior, Joel Embiid did not make the roster, but I do think he will get that date with a big time celebrity because I #TrustTheProcess.

West-Starters

Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Davis

West-Reserves

Demarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Gordon Hayward (1st time All-Star), DeAndre Jordan (1st time All-Star), and of course Russell Westbrook

The Warriors got all four of their stars on the roster. I know Steph is untouchable, but I think Westbrook deserves the start over him. He is averaging a triple-double, which only happens on 2k’s MyPlayer mode.

This year’s All-Star weekend should be a treat as always, and there is some ongoing “beef” between players. The Celtics and Wizards hate each other right now, the Warriors might “Ice” out Westbrook, and Lebron might just demand that the Eastern All-Stars replace the Cleveland Cavaliers, and no one is allowed to go back to their original teams.
